Dear Parents,

 

     This is my last academic letter to you this year. I can’t believe there are only two weeks of school left.  I am so proud of your child; they have done a great job this year.  They have grown so much, spiritually and academically.  I am not ready to let your child leave my classroom.  I have enjoyed them and will miss them greatly next year.  Also, the field trip permission slip for Stewart Park is due tomorrow.  Thank you.

     In Bible the students will be reviewing the last two verses for the school year, verses Y and Z, to be graded this Thursday.  In Phonics they will be reviewing all they have learned this year.  In Reading we will continue to have reading groups this week.  They will have reading homework just on Tuesday this week.  Make sure their readers come back to school the next day because we still need them.  Please continue to encourage your child to read smoothly with good expression.  In Numbers the students are going to be reviewing all they have learned this year.  In Social Studies we will finish learning about Japan and Australia.  We will finish up our Social Studies book this week.
