CLASS NEWS FOR NSCA’S FIFTH AND SIXTH GRADE:

THIS WEEK’S LESSON PLANS:

1. Bible: Lessons this week are about Elijah. There will be a verse quiz Wednesday on Matthew 9:28 and John 8:31-32.

2. Math: Lessons 139-143, with a test on Thursday, May 6.

3. Language: Fifth grade is studying types of words and using the dictionary and thesaurus, covering pages 250-264.

 Sixth Grade Language:  We are studying Adverbs this week, covering pages 236-239. We will also review letter writing on pages 297-299.

4. Reading/ Spelling: Spelling test 31 on Friday,  May 7.  

5. History:  There will be a quiz on Tuesday and Friday over parts of Chapter 15. We will cover pages 285-302.

6. Health:  There is a test on Chapters 1 and 2 Tuesday. We will cover Chapter 3 pp. 57-69.

ASSIGNMENTS FOR EACH DAY ARE IN YOUR CHILD’S NSCA ASSIGNMENT BOOK.  BE SURE YOUR CHILD IS COMPLETING THE HOMEWORK EVERY DAY.  IF YOUR CHILD RECEIVES TWO HOMEWORK SLIPS IN ONE WEEK, HE WILL HAVE TO SERVE AN AFTERSCHOOL DETENTION.
