Dear Parents,

This week your child will be reviewing of learning the following:

ARITHMETIC- counting 1-300, giving the number before and after numbers 1-200, counting by 2’s,3’s, 5’s ,10’s,or 25’s addition families 1-13 (an addition family includes all of the facts that equal that number), subtraction families-1-13 ( a subtraction family includes all of the facts from that number), counting  mixed groups of dimes, nickels and pennies, and quarters, counting half dollars to $2.00  and measuring in inches or centimeters, telling time on the hour and half hour and 5 minute increments, telling the temperature by 10’s and 2’s, recognizing one half of a shape and one half of a group, adding or subtracting 2 digit numbers, addition with carrying to the 10’s or 100”s column

BIBLE- study Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

LANGUAGE- match words and phrases to pictures, fill in missing words from sentences, copy sentences correctly, beginning with capital letters and ending with a period, writing sentences using words or phrases given, write short stories

PHONICS-short and long vowel sounds, letters and clue words for each, consonant sounds, letters and clue words for each, blends of consonants and vowels, reading words with short or long vowels, correctly identify special sounds in words and correctly mark vowels

READING-  Aesop’s Fables, Strong and True, Down by the Sea, and Primary Bible Reader, before each story or lesson we review new or difficult words.
